Mobile Mechanic Services Terms & Conditions
By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Services
WrenchWorks Automotive provides mobile vehicle repair, maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and related automotive services at a location agreed upon with the customer.
All work is subject to vehicle condition, accessibility, safety requirements, availability of parts, and weather conditions where applicable.
2. Estimates and Quotations
All quotations and estimates are provided in good faith based on the information supplied by the customer.
Additional faults or required repairs discovered during the course of work may result in additional charges.
No additional work will be carried out without the customer’s approval.
Quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
Bookings and Cancellations
Customers must provide accurate vehicle details when booking.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee (£50).
If the customer is unavailable at the agreed appointment time, a call-out charge may apply (£80).
4. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, debit card, or credit card.
Any unpaid invoices may be subject to late payment charges and debt recovery costs.
5. Parts
Parts supplied by us remain our property until paid for in full.
We use original equipment (OEM), aftermarket, or equivalent quality parts unless otherwise requested.
Parts availability may affect repair times.
Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.
6. Customer-Supplied Parts
We may agree to fit customer-supplied parts at our discretion.
No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts.
We are not responsible for defects, incompatibility, or failure of customer-supplied parts.
Additional labour charges may apply if supplied parts are incorrect or unsuitable.
7. Warranty
We provide a warranty of 12 months/ 12,000 mile (whichever occurs first) workmanship from the date of repair.
Warranty claims must be supported by proof of service.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage.
- Faults unrelated to the original repair.
- Repairs or modifications carried out by third parties after our work.
8. Diagnostics
Diagnostic services are intended to identify faults based on information available at the time of inspection.
Additional faults may be identified during or after repairs.
Diagnostic fees (£80) are payable regardless of whether repairs are subsequently undertaken.
9. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must:
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and safe to work on.
- Inform us of any known faults or modifications.
- Remove valuables from the vehicle before the appointment.
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
10. Limitation of Liability
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our services.
Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the work carried out.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, business interruption, or vehicle downtime.
11. Health and Safety
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where:
- Working conditions are unsafe.
- The vehicle presents a health or safety risk.
- The repair requested is considered unsafe or unlawful.
12. Delays
We shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, severe weather, supplier delays, equipment failure, or unforeseen vehicle defects.
13. Privacy
Customer information will only be used for providing services, invoicing, warranty administration, and legal obligations. We will not sell or share personal information except where required by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15. Acceptance
By booking an appointment or authorising work to be carried out, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
