Recovery Services Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to WrenchWorks Automotive.
“Customer” refers to the person or organisation requesting services.
“Services” refers to vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, transportation, storage, and any related services provided by the Company.
2. Service Availability
The Company will make reasonable efforts to provide services promptly but does not guarantee arrival times. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate location and vehicle details.
- Ensure the vehicle is legally owned or operated by them or that they have authority to request recovery.
- Remove personal valuables from the vehicle where possible.
- Inform the Company of any hazardous materials, vehicle modifications, or special recovery requirements.
The Company reserves the right to refuse service where safety risks exist.
4. Charges and Payment
Charges are based on the service requested and the distance travelled.
Any quoted price may be subject to change if circumstances differ from those disclosed at the time of booking.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Vehicle winching.
- Off-road recovery.
- Vehicle storage.
- Waiting time.
- Specialist equipment.
- Toll roads, congestion charges, or ferry costs.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Company reserves the right to retain possession of a vehicle until outstanding charges have been paid, where permitted by law.
5. Vehicle Recovery and Transport
Vehicles will be transported with reasonable care and skill.
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical failure, or deterioration occurring as a result of the vehicle’s condition.
Customers should inspect their vehicle before and after transport and report any concerns immediately.
6. Storage
Where a vehicle is stored by the Company:
Daily storage charges may apply (£30).
The Customer must arrange collection within the agreed period.
Vehicles left uncollected may be subject to additional charges.
The Company reserves all legal rights regarding abandoned vehicles.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before dispatch may incur no charge.
Cancellations after dispatch may incur a call-out fee.
If recovery personnel arrive and the service is no longer required, a charge may still apply.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Company’s liability shall be limited to direct losses caused by its negligence.
The Company shall not be liable for:
- Loss of earnings.
- Loss of business.
- Loss of use of the vehicle.
- Consequential or indirect losses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents, strikes, government actions, or natural disasters.
10. Complaints
Any complaints should be submitted in writing within 7 days of the service date to:

The Company will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
11. Data Protection
The Company processes personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Customer information will be used only for providing services, processing payments, legal compliance, and business administration.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
