Found myself in unexpected distress after my tyre blew out on a hugely busy stretch of A13 with no hard shoulder. I could not get it to reinflate.  I could not get through to my breakdown service so contacted wrenchworks who were listed as being local to where Id been stranded.   They were helpful, reassuring and very efficient, explaining everything upfront and checking I was happy with the prices before going ahead.  They gave a rough time estimate I could expect to receive help - approx an hour. Their tyre fitter called me to let me know he was en route and arrived with all the equipment to replace my blown out tyre with a new one and fixed and fitted everything securely for me. As a solo female, I was very grateful for wrenchworks help and quick response.  I also didn't feel pressurised or that I was being ripped off with the cost of the service. I am posting on behalf of my friend who lives near Witham. She hit a pot hole and then her car wouldn't start. Mohammed was there within a couple of hours and reassured her it was just the battery, not any serious damage.
